Contributions
Contributions were submitted over a period ranging from 2020 to 2022, due to the pandemic-related delay. Perspective contributors were encouraged to apply for oral/poster presentations, addressing the Scientific & Technical Themes of the Symposium. The heart of the Symposium was the daily Poster Session. Some contributions, addressing particular topics, were selected for Oral Seminars and Panel Debates. No parallel sessions took place, so that each presentation may have a chance to be followed by all participants.
Contributors were invited to provide a 2-page Extended Abstract. Submitted abstracts were reviewed by at least 2 international experts and then ascribed to a sessions in the Final Program. All Extended Abstracts are collected in a volume of Oceans from Space V Proceedings. Best Contributions Awards were assigned to 1 Best Contribution and 10 Distinguished Contributions, through a voting scheme involving all Participants. Full-length papers were solicited for a Special Issue of MDPI Remote Sensing.
